Policy Advocacy

Policy Advocacy means promotion of an interest, opinion and support of an idea, often covertly and inadvertently. It is a broad concept that encompasses wide range of activities to influence decision makers. Traditionally these activities involved litigation, lobbying and propaganda, however with growth of complex systems it tends to include capacity building, relationship building, forming networks, and leadership development.

The SAARC CCI Team under the leadership of president has utilized various methods of Policy advocacy for the promotion of trade & equality, expansion of business opportunities in South Asia and better regional integration.

These methods, thereof, include Meetings with higher officials, Conferences to generate ideas for higher growth and stronger connectivity, Workshops to capacitate the participants on the basic rules of successful communications, developing core strategy statement for addressing human resources requirements and Delegation visits in the pursuit of set objectives.
