Training on Digital Marketing for Women Entrepreneurs

United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) collaboration with SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC), convened a workshop focusing on digital marketing tailored for women entrepreneurs at the FPCCI capital office, Islamabad, Pakistan.
The objective of the training was to equip women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge in digital marketing, e-commerce, product development, and branding. It provided practical insights into building an online presence and effective brand development, enabling participants to learn best practices in digital and social media to enhance their online business skills and expand product outreach.
The session was led by Dr. Rajan Sudesh Ratna, Deputy Head of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Dr. Ratna emphasized the urgent need to revise Pakistan’s 2019 e-commerce policy to reflect current market needs. Through his engaging session, he imparted critical digital marketing and e-commerce skills, vital for business success in today’s digital economy.
Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Butt, Secretary General, SCCI warmly welcomed Mr. Rajan Sudesh Ratna, Deputy Head of UNESCAP and the participants, underscoring the significance of such initiatives in empowering women entrepreneurs.
