Digital & Social Media Marketing Workshop: Taking Your Business Online

SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneur Council (Pakistan Chapter) organized a workshop titled Digital & Social Media Marketing Workshop ‘Taking Your Business Online’ in Partnership with Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) on November 23, 2021, in Lahore, Pakistan.

The aim of the workshop was to equip women entrepreneurs with the know-how of digital marketing and to enable the women entrepreneurs to learn digital and social media best practices to upgrade their online business skills and to augment their products outreach. The workshop was attended by the women entrepreneurs who actively participated in the training sessions focusing on the importance of digital marketing in their respective businesses.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Ms. Kaneez Fatima Chadhar Chairperson of Punjab Women Protection Authority, Lahore, Pakistan, Ms. Sadia Sohail Rana Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Ms. Tabassum Anwar Vohra GA Member SCCI.

Mr. Bader Munir, Director Internal Affairs, SCCI, warmly welcomed the participants and said that the workshops would be helpful for the women entrepreneurs to learn digital and social media best practices and would enhance the skills to effectively market their business products while achieving growth.

The sessions of the workshop were conducted by extremely talented Mr. Usman Arshad Khan, who has expertise in digital and social media marketing. During the workshop, he apprised the participants about the platforms, tools, analytics, and techniques required for succeeding in the new digital environment.

Ms. Hina Mansab Khan, Vice Chair SCWEC (Pakistan Chapter) in her address congratulated the participants. While addressing the participants, she said that social media has made a recent trend of correspondence and there are now billions of exchanges happening online. “Digital medium is a moving target. Assuming you’re ready to adjust and scale alongside of it, your brand will benefit in the long term”, added Ms. Mansab.

The interaction level of the audience with the trainer made the program highly successful. The workshop concluded with the certificate distribution along with the group photograph.
