Given the imortance of the South Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA) and regional integration for the South Asian economies, a one day seminar entitled “Trade Liberalization under SAFTA” was jointly organized by the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) in Dhaka-Bangladesh on May 26, 2007.
