MoU signing ceremony between SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneur Council (SCWEC, Pakistan) and Lala Industries

At the 71st Executive Committee Meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC, Pakistan) signed a MoU with Lala Industries on February 6, 2018.

The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to encourage business contacts especially amongst female entrepreneurs and to foster and facilitate international trade, and to adopt common positions on global business and trade issues when appropriate and to share expertise and good Chamber practice for the benefit of women entrepreneurs locally and within the SAARC region. Also to provide the business members with valuable information on the general economic situation, taxation, investment opportunities, trade policies and legislative changes in each region.

Furthermore it emphasizes on the development of tools of co-operation between the signatories which would allow an effective role of all stakeholders in the implementation of Trade and Co-operation Agreements vis a vis women entrepreneurs.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Ms. Zubia Zubair, Vice Chairperson SCWEC (Pakistan) and Mr. Pervez Lala, Ceo, Lala Industries.
